We had a blast with Uncle Rob! He showed us everything we wanted to see and added a wonderful personal touch with his extensive knowledge of the area and his great sense of humor. He took so many photos for us so we didn’t have to think about taking photos and he made a beautiful video for us to keep. I can’t wait to go again next time we are in Eleuthera!
If you are looking for a great guide and wondering if the trip will be worth it - don't hesitate. As many others have said, this half day was a high light of our vacation. We got to see so much more than I thought we would, sand bank, string ray, swings in the middle of the ocean, snorkeling and turtles in their habitat - and never felt rushed. Uncle Rob is knowledgeable, fun and experienced, really focused on making sure we had a great time. And the extra bonus - he took pictures so we could enjoy the moments, and then making them into a video was so appreciated. Do the trip with Uncle Rob, you will love every minute!
Seriously one of the best days ever out with Capt. Dwayne. We swam with the pigs, sea turtles and sting rays. Did the swings and went shelling. He was helpful and kind and just over all the perfect captain for the kids and I! Everything was perfect!
We have been on two boat trips - one with Dwayne and the other with Rob - and both trips were absolutely amazing. We would go so far to say that they are definitely among the best trips we have ever taken. Dwayne and Rob know their way around the islands and we have done and seen so many different things. We can highly recommend them and would always book another trip, should we come back to the Bahamas! Thanks so much for this great experience.
Uncle Bob was extremely understanding about weather, time and cost. We went out with Captain Dwayne. He was so nice to wife and me. We enjoyed a half day “3 hour tour” and saw more than we are expected. Snorkeling with fish, feeding turtles, finding and playing with starfish. Our wrap up was a tour of the Conch Reef and a lovely walk on an un-inhabited island. Gorgeous day. Dwayne could not have been more kind and friendly.

We spent the day with Uncle Rob’s Great Adventures, and it was hands down the best excursion we’ve ever experienced. From the moment we set out, his high energy, great soundtrack and deep knowledge of Eleuthera, his native home, took the adventure to another level.
Our group of five adults and three kids fit comfortably on the boat, and Uncle Rob went above and beyond with special treats that made the kids feel extra special. He worked with us to fully customize the day around exactly what we wanted, and communication leading up to the trip was easy and responsive. He’s a true professional who clearly takes immense pride in what he does.
Not only did he guide us to incredible spots, but he also captured amazing photos throughout the day so we could stay fully present and enjoy every moment together. To top it off, he put together an unforgettable video of the entire experience. Something we’ll cherish and watch for years to come.

A truly enjoyable and magical experience from the moment Uncle Rob greeted us on the dock. He quickly learned our names, made us feel comfortable and reviewed the planned excursions to make sure it’s what we wanted based on the weather and tides (group of 6 ages 3-64). He made sure we got an early start which assured that we were the only boat at each of the stops! We fed turtles, snorkeled a reef in the harbor, saw huge starfish, hung out on a cool tree, swam at a deserted beach and even snorkeled at a shipwreck in the Devils Backbone! His knowledge and stories based on his years of seagoing experience kept us entertained. The pics/video he made as we saw the sights were so thoughtful and professionally done - it let us enjoy the experience without worry of missing anything. We would highly recommend him!
The tour by Uncle Rob was excellent. We have visited Spanish Wells and Eleuthera for years and have taken many boat tours. Uncle Rob was BY FAR the best boat tour Captain we have had. He tailored the trip based on what we had seen before and gave us new experiences. He was also very personable and took plenty of photos and videos that our family has already begun sharing. Incredible day with Captain Rob! From the moment we stepped on his boat he made us so comfortable with his quick wit and magnetic personality. We have done a boat trip for the past 4 years with other captains… from now on- Captain Rob will be our choice! He was able to take us to things we had not seen previously along with the history of the island that he is so proud of. Beyond being a great captain, his photography skills are exceptional. It allowed us to enjoy all the moments knowing we were getting pictures and videos to document the day. Thank you Rob!!!

Its like he was part of our gang from the second we met him and made it such an amazing experience for us all!! The video/pics he took for our group were amazing! Our entire family loved him from the first hand out to help us on the boat. Rob was engaged with us and was the first person out of the boat and last one in at every stop. He was incredible with our three children and we could not ask for a better day. He took pictures for us and made videos all day and sent us all the shots and made a special finished video just for us. So much fun. Great guy. Do the all day trip. YOLO!

MUST DO SPANISH WELLS ADVENTURE!!!! Look no further than Uncle Rob's Great Adventures for your next Bahamas vacation! Uncle Rob is a highly accomplished boat captain as well as historian and entertainer! He took us snorkeling, swimming with the pigs, feeding sea turtles. Beautiful marine life abounded on our snorkeling spots over reefs and wrecks. Land adventures included the Blue Hole and the Glass Window. Such a stunning vacation/adventure. A definite DO OVER! The absolute best tour! Everything down to the snacks, music and local knowledge. We were lucky to have Uncle Rob’s nephew, Captain Cameron, and he was so friendly, so fun and very thoughtful. He ensured we had a truly memorable trip, including taking all kinds of awesome videos & photos that they turned into an incredible video for us for free to remember our tour. We did snorkelling, sea swings, feeding the stingrays, sand bar and feeding the swimming pigs all in one morning. Cameron was careful time everything so it was less busy and felt like a totally private tour. They also had the very best price and were the most responsive over text. We swam with turtles, collected sand dollars, saw HUGE starfish, played on the sandbar swings, did some snorkeling, and enjoyed the rope swings. Uncle Rob was fun, enjoyable to talk to and very informative! He took us everywhere we asked to go and we listened to great music while we enjoyed the ride. Yummy snacks and drinks were also provided. I highly recommend taking a tour with Uncle Rob! It was the highlight of our trip and our kids loved him!!
So this is our 2nd trip to Eleuthera and our 2nd time we did an excursion. The first time we went with another group that I've already reviewed. They were great but Uncle Rob was exceptional. He kept the kids engaged and he was very knowledgeable about everything. We did the sand bar, sting rays, cliff diving, snorkeling, sea turtles and star fish. He dropped us off in Spanish Wells for lunch then picked us back up for the rest of the day. I highly recommend Uncle Rob.

A little late in leaving a comment but I took a trip to Eleuthera last year and booked an excursion with Uncle Rob. By far the best thing I did on my vacation! Dwayne was amazing and made sure that my friend and I were safe at all times. He made us feel welcomed and we truly enjoyed our time on this tour. I absolutely recommend using Uncle Rob's if you ever find yourself in Eleuthera and ask for Dwayne! :)

We did a boat excursion with Uncle Rob and it was amazing. He is fun, extremely knowledgeable and genuinely wants his customers to have the best day of their lives! He was made for this!! From interacting with turtles, stingrays and starfish, snorkeling a beautiful reef and a shipwreck (from 1895!!) to playing on a rope swing in a beautiful cove to ocean swings on a stunning sand bar, our day was absolutely incredible. Uncle Rob even surprised my daughter with a delicious cookie cake since we were celebrating her 13th bday. I can’t imagine having a better experience. My family will treasure the memories we made with Uncle Rob for years to come!
Wow! What an absolute adventure this was for us. I have to say, it was definitely the highlight of our trip! Cameron was the best guide and made my kids feel comfortable with the sting rays and turtles. He provided drinks, snacks and lots of laughter and fun. He took videos and pictures of us and then Uncle Rob put together a video so we can always look back on this day! Uncle Rob is Awesome!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the boat with him! He is very knowledgeable, safely minded, and goes above and beyond to make your day memorable and special. He even took pictures and videos for us complimentary, so we could totally relax and engage fully in our activities. One of the members of our party had a birthday. And he crafted a birthday song to surprise her while we were out of the boat snorkeling. Rob also timed our arrival to the different locations we visited so we would be the only ones there for a more private experience. There are not enough compliments I could give this gentleman. I have traveled to Spanish Wells many times and taken several excursions. Rob is far and away the best we have gone out with!! If you are interested in a day out on the water I highly recommend you book your outing with him! You can't go wrong with Uncle Rob!!!

Our excursion with Uncle Rob was one of the top highlights of our trip! It was a fun filled day that I wished never ended! There was music, snacks, and loads of history to be shared! We had an incredible time exploring a sandbar, swimming with piggies & turtles, and even had an amazing snorkeling opportunity! Masks and flippers were provided. It was like we spent the day with our favorite uncle! Rob was incredible and captured the whole day and provided us with a fun video at the end of the day! Book book book , this excursion will be a core memory!
Forget what you think you know about boat charters, because Uncle Rob isn't just an operator, he's basically the best fun-having uncle you never knew you needed! We had a blast exploring Eleuthera with him – his enthusiasm for every swim spot and secret cove was absolutely contagious. We swam with the pigs (yes, really!), hand-fed some super chill sea turtles, met the legendary Big Bubba the stingray, and even snorkeled in what felt like a giant, natural aquarium. He even jumped in the water with us, proving his love for the island runs deeper than the ocean itself. It felt less like a tour and more like an epic day out with one of our own crew.
